Why translate the world?

As a Full Stack software developer, I have been fortunate to work on multiple projects for different platforms and with various technologies. However, when it comes to taking the next step and globalizing the projects to reach more users in the simplest way possible without language barriers getting in the way, I have encountered a significant challenge.

One of the biggest challenges has been the unification of translations with software development. For many, translating a project is simply creating a JSON file with keys and values, or even using a translator and doing it manually. Believe me, I've tried it, and over time it becomes unsustainable.

I also tried managing the translations in an Excel or spreadsheet to keep things organized, and while it works, it is still not a viable long-term solution. Maintaining consistency in translations without losing context, without breaking functionalities, and ensuring that everything continues to flow with the development is much more complex than it seems.

If we analyze the problem thoroughly, it is not just about translating words, but about integrating the translations with the development environment efficiently, allowing for agility and flexibility. Ideally, this process would be automated or delegated without affecting productivity.

A challenge worth tackling.

After creating some internal versions of tools to facilitate this process, I realized that this could be useful for more people. As a freelancer, I have dealt with this problem many times, and I know that the need for a user-friendly and sustainable solution is real.

The goal is clear: to globalize projects in a simple and accessible way, regardless of whether it involves:

• A basic HTML page.
• Mobile applications.
• Desktop applications.
• Advanced web applications.

In summary, any project that has the potential to reach people who speak different languages.

How to solve it?

To address this issue, I am developing packages for different frameworks and platforms. The idea is that, with minimal installation and configuration, any developer can globalize their project effortlessly.

My first version is now available and includes a web administrative panel, where you can:

• See the texts uploaded by our packages.
• Edit and add new languages from an intuitive dashboard.
• Automatically synchronize translations with your project's code, without the need to modify it manually.
• Can edit the translations from our administrative panel.

While I would love to make this project Open Source, it is currently not possible due to maintenance costs. However, I do not rule out this possibility in the future.
